This is an announcement of the Drug Enforcement Administration's Freedom of Information & Records Management Section (SAR), Operations Unit (SARO) Streamlined Competition. DEA is conducting a Streamlined Competition in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, dated May 29, 2003. A streamlined competition of the Operations Unit is being conducted. These services are currently provided by Government personnel, comprised of 20 FTE located in the Washington, DC metro area. This is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award a contract. Prospective offers are advised that a solicitation will not be issued if the cost of contract performance is determined to be greater than the cost of in-house performance by Government personnel.
