NOTICE OF INTENT - Sole Source of Administrative, IT Engineering, Logistics Support to 160th Signal Brigade

Notice of Intent: The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground, Huachuca Division (ACC-APG, Huachuca Division) intends to issue a sole source award to General Dynamics Information Technology, 3211 Jermantown Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030-2844, to provide non-personal administrative, information technology engineering, and logistics staff support services to the 160th Signal Brigade and its subordinate units within the US CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) in Southwest Asia and Central Asia. This action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-2, unusual and compelling urgency, and solicited in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, as the Government has immediate need for continuity of services and delay in award of a contract will result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. The resultant award will contain a period of performance from 01 November 2017 through 31 December 2017, with an option to extend up to 3 months (if needed). A justification for sole source has been prepared in support of this acquisition and will be posted no more than 30 days after contract award. Market research has revealed that the Contractor is the only responsible source that can provide the Government's immediate requirement. ACC-APG, Huachuca Division intends to procure the requested service to fulfill the mission and need of the 160th Signal Brigade in Southwest Asia.
