Notice of Proposed Sole Source Contract Action - Wellesley Island BP Station Custodial and other Services

This special notice serves as a notice of intent to award a single source requirement to SANFORD FEDERAL, INC. (800 Corporate DR STE 301, Stafford, Virginia 22554-4889) for custodial, grounds, trash, snow pest and ice removal services for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Wellesley Island Border Patrol Station. Period of Performance 4/1/2023 to 6/30/2023. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by March 27, 2023 at 5:00pm Eastern time . A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendors who believe they can provide the services and can provide proof of ability to meet the requirements should email their company’s capabilities information to the attention of Contract Specialist Robert Kay by the required response date.
