--Site Operations Support. - Modification 049 to establish the Final Planned Value

The US Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), intends to issue a sole source contract modification to Goldbelt Eagle LLC. in accordance with the FAR 6.302-1. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. Any interested party should contact the below named for more information regarding this posting, all correspondence shall be received no later than 16 May 2014 at 1600 EST. Goldbelt Eagle LLC. provides Site Operations Support services under contract number DE-FE0004004. The action is a sole source to Goldbelt Eagle LLC. to allow sufficient time for the competitive contract process to continue. The modification resulting from this synopsis will be for a 2 month period. The government reserves the right to extend the contract further without additional public notice. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETATIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
