Notice of the SEC's Intent to Award a Sole Source IDIQ Contract to Southern District Court Reporters, PC

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Washington, DC intends to award a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to Southern District Court Reporters, PC, 500 Pearl St Suite 330, New York, NY, 10007-1316. The contract will have a base year with four option years. The SEC has a requirement for deposition court reporting services, including transcripts, in proceedings prosecuted by litigation staff in the courts of the Southern District of New York. Southern District Court Reporters is the official court reporting organization for the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and the Title 41 U.S.C. 3304 (a)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Negotiation is being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of statements, proposal, or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice will be solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
