The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is planning a Sole Source purchase order with McKesson APS. McKesson APS is the only company licensed to provide support and maintenance of the Pharmacy 2000 software and hardware. The software and computer workstations are used to fill the majority of the service unit's outpaient prescriptions. The purchase order will consist of the following items: Rx port cells, Rx port supercells, barcoded cassettes and barcoded cassette counters; telephone support 24 hours per day and 7 days per week; when needed technician arrival on site, not to exceed 24 hours from dispatch including after hours and weekends; all hardware upgrades / replacements due to failure included at no charge; includes software upgrades at no charge; and including pill image library.
