Notice to Extend Services This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office intends to extend Jackson County, Oregon security patrol and law enforcement services for Purchase Order Number R16PX00616 an additional two (2) months in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Reclamation has security management responsibilities for lands located in Jackson County, Oregon. Reclamation's authority to administer lands and waters does not include law enforcement authority. However, Reclamation does have authority to establish contracts with local law enforcement agencies to enforce federal regulations as appropriate. Reclamation has found the Jackson County Sheriff's Office to be the only source with full arrest authority to successfully complete the required security patrols and law enforcement services.
