NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The United States Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration, Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis ongoing Litigation Services for a base period of performance 2/19/24-2/18/25, with one option year available, NAICS 514690 - Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services from DBC Economist Corp under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 USC 253(c) (1). DBC has specialized knowledge of the services required under this proposed contract. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 and will be a firm-fixed-price contract. This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes or proposals. No solicitation package will be publicly issued. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation no later than 4:30 PM Pacific Daylight Time fifteen (15) calendar days after the date of publication of this notice, unless the 15th day falls on a weekend or holiday, then it will be the next business day following the weekend or the holiday. [email protected]. Responses to this notice should include clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. WAPA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this Notice of Intent. This notice in no way obligates the Government to award a contract.
