Limited Source J & A- A national survey of U.S. workers to investigate COVID-19 vaccine attitudes and intention to vaccinate

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. This is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), hereby announces its intent to issue a sole source order/contract to the University of Calfornia, Los Angeles, 10889 Wilshire BLVD. Ste 700-33, Los Angeles, CA 90095. The CDC/NIOSH has a sole source requirement for the purchase of clean data files, code books, metadata (where applicable), and reports for 3 waves of the UCLA COVID-19 Health Project survey. The UCLA COVID Health Project has a standing agreement with Lucid (a market research platform that runs an online echange for survey respondents), to affordably field large-scale surveys to representative samples of the U.S. population with extremely quick fielding and turn-around times. The COVID-19 outbreak has evolved at a fast pace, resulting in a urgent and compelling need to rapidly procure services to support the containment and recovery of the outbreak throughout the country and world. The attached class Justification and Approval (J & A) has been made available for review. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 611310, Colleges, Universities, and Professional Schools, with a size standard of $30.0 million.
