Customer Notice Regarding Deloitte Consulting LLP’s GSA Contract No. GS-35F-0060L

GSA contract GS-35F-0060L, which consists of Special Item Numbers ( SINs) 132-51 (IT Professional Services) and 132-62 (HSPD-12 Product and Service Components) , is set to expire on Tuesday, October 23, 2012. GSA does not intend to extend the contract past this expiration date because Deloitte Consulting LLP (Deloitte) was awarded a new, successor GSA contract (GS-35F-0617Y) on September 7, 2012. On July 7, 2011, GSA had notified Deloitte that an option exercise on Deloitte’s contract GS-35F-0060L would not be in the Government’s best interest. Deloitte was instructed to submit a new offer and in the meantime notify all customers with existing blanket purchase agreements (BPAs) and task orders against contract GS-35F-0060L of the impending contract expiration. As such, all existing BPAs will expire as of October 23, 2012. Existing task orders will be able to continue through the current period of performance; however, ordering activities will not be able to exercise options or place new orders. The original expiration date for Deloitte’s contract No. GS-35F-0060L was October 31, 2010. GSA had granted extensions to Deloitte’s contract No. GS-35F-0060L from November 1, 2010, through October 23, 2012, while its new offer was pending. This was done to provide continuity of service to the customers under this contract and to allow such customers adequate time to create alternate arrangements for fulfill its IT service needs that were being performed by Deloitte under contract GS-35F-0060L. Presently, Deloitte holds a successor contract, GS-35F-0617Y, with a period of performance of September 7, 2012 through September 6, 2017. This new contract vehicle is available to all eligible customers for placing orders and possesses a lower pricing structure than GS-35F-0060L.
