--Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business

The Center for Health Care Contracting, 2107 17th Street, Bldg 4197, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to Genesis Concepts and Consultants, 1777 NE Loop 410 Ste 600, San Antonio, Texas 78217. The requirement is to provid e non-personal services of seven Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) Instructors for the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDD C & S), Academy of Health Sciences (AHS), Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The instructors shall be Force XXI Battle Comma nd Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Operator Certified with 1 year teaching experience of FBCB2, and shall be Maneuver Control System Light (MCS-L) Operator Certified. A 10-month base period, with four 1-year option periods will be awarded. The base period of pe rformance is 01 April 05 through 31 January 05. The authority used to make a sole source contract is FAR 19.1406, Sole Source Award to a Service-Disabled Veteran owned small business concern.
