The information in this Sources Sought notification is based on the best and most current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Updated i nformation will be provided in subsequent synopsis, if required. The Joint Munitions Command is seeking sources for a potential requirement for planning, training, executing and managing the Command wide deployment of Transactional Lean Six Sigma. The inte nt is that a highly capable in-house LSS capability will be developed in order to grow and sustain a healthy LSS program within JMC well after contractor performance has been completed. Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) management consulting and facilitizati on in support of JMC SCO initiatives is also needed. The work to be performed will be at Headquarters JMC and five subordinate installations. The Defense Ammunition Center and the McAlester Army Ammunition Plan in McAlester, OK, Crane Army Ammunition Activ ity, Crane Indiana, Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, Utah and Blue Grass Army Ammunition Plant, Blue Grass, Kentucky. We envision that the contractor will provide one Senior Black Belt to provide overall program management as well as multiple Black Belts to per form simultaneous training and deployment efforts at both the JMC Headquarters in Rock Island, Illinois and the subordinate installations. The objectives are to enable Command Wide Lean Six Sigma Deployment through 1) project leadership/completion, 2) coac hing/training in-house staff and 3) transitioning to self-sustainment. A mix of classroom and hands-on effort is required. The requirement is expected to be implemented with a base year contract with up to four option years for full deployment. It is envi sioned that the amount of contractor involvement and support will decrease over the life of the contract as JMC employees become certified and take over administration of the effort.
