Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to BC FED Group LLC, 11710 Plaza America Drive, Suite 950, Reston, VA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This requirement is for a training package entitled Human Terrain and Cross-Cultural Negotiations or Bilateral Negotiations. This is a multiple day course focusing on human terrain mapping, identifying leaders in a foreign environment, maximizing the use of an interpreter, and unusual incident response. The current course content and instructional methods are the intellectual property of the contractor. This requirement is for a total of three (3) two (2) day courses in the month of August and September 2010. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
