The government has a need for a medical surge team for various locations throughout the US Army MEDCOM North Atlantic Regional Medical Command (NARMC). The team would be comprised of 1-3 Internal Medicine Physicians, 1-3 Family Medicine Physicians, 1-3 Psychiatrists, 1-3 Family Nurse Practitioners, 1-3 Physician Assistants, and 3-6 Psychologists. This team would be based out of Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington D.C. with the possibility of extensive travel, both individually and/or as a te am, to other Army medical facilities throughout the NARMC region. This team would provide health care services IAW their professional qualifications to include but not limited to Soldier Readiness Processing, Periodic Health Assessments, Pre- and Post-Dep loyment Health Assessments, Post-Deployment Health Reassessment and replacement of healthcare providers deployed in the Global War On Terrorism. An Industry day will be held at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX, (San Antonio) on 26 Mar 08 a t 1500 to allow interested parties to ask questions and provide feedback.
