The Health Readiness Contracting Officer (Provisional) (HRCO-(P)) - Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP), interim (bridge) contract to the incumbent InGenesis Arora Joint Venture, LLC, for a four (4) month (31 Mar 2016 - 31 Jul 2016) base period with two 4-month option periods 1 Aug through 30 Nov 2016; 1 Dec through 30 Mar 2017), for continuation of dental services in the Southeast Region in support of the Dental Directorate, US Army Medical Command. The statutory authority permitting acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 USC 254(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements). InGenesis Arora is the only responsible source capable of satisfying the Dental Directorate’s requirement for Southeast Region’s dental services on 31 Mar 2016 as InGenesis Arora has the necessary management, labor pool and security clearances in place to ensure successful continuity of services.
