Q--Notice of intent to sole source/ 6 month bridge for RN services/ SAMMC San Antonio TX

The Southern Regional Contracting Office (SRCO) intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements to MedTrust LLC, 6655 First Park Ten Blvd, Suite 222, San Antonio, Texas 782213 for a six-month period of performance starting on 1 April 2013. The requirement is for Registered Nursing Services of various specialties in support of the San Antonio Military Medical Center and Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center. The bridge contract will allow for continuance of RN services at these two medical facilities while the competitive follow-on contract is finalized. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 621399 with the size standard of $7M. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be addressed. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice.
