Notice of Intent to Sole Source - USAFA Ambulance Services (2 mo.)

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Central Markets Contracting Division (CM-CD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Ambulance Services using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and FAR 19.1406, Sole source awards to service disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 621910 – Ambulance Services. The Product and Service Code (PSC) is V225 - Travel / Lodging/ Recruitment: Ambulance. The period of performance will be 2 months. FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services will also be included in the award. The proposed contract action will be a sole source award to the following SDVOSB vendor: Asteri Consulting Services, LLC 949 E Filmore St. Colorado Springs, CO 80907 CAGE Code: 8K1G2 The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) in Colorado Springs, Colorado requires contractor support to provide non-personal, emergency patient transport services to include all labor, parts, tools, materials, and transportation necessary. Ambulance services shall be performed on-site which includes the USAFA Flight Line, Cadet Area, Community Center, Jack's Valley, Pine Valley housing area, Douglass Valley housing area, and the I-25 Corridor bordering the base. This emergency patient transport service shall consist of a minimum of three (3) dedicated ambulances.
