The Army Contracting Command, National Capital Region, on behalf of the Office of Judge Advocate General intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source, to The National Center of Missing and Exploited Children NCMEC) on or before 23 March 2012. NCMEC is a national resource center and cleaning house for missing and exploited children. There are other known sources that provide specialized training to law enforcement personnel and prosecutors in the prevention, investigation, prosecution and treatment of cases involving missing and exploited children. The specialized training will provide techniques in the prosecution of technology facilitated crimes against children of military families. NCMEC will provide training for two (2) four and 1/2 day sessions. The first training session will occur on 26 March 2012 - 30 March 2012 and the second training session will occur on 06 August 2012 - 10 August 2012. The Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no RFQ available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
