NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT - Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Trevor Romaine Company, located in Austin, TX 78789 for both services and supplies of the following: The continued partnership between the Trevor Romaine Company, providing presentations to military families in coping with changing environments, schools, the deployment or loss of a family member. The materials provided are an excellent resource for military families with children and for the professionals who care for military families. The initiative has proven to be exceptionally useful for families with a parent who is absent because of deployment. Also as resource materials for professionals which provide support and assistance to military families. The materials are replacement of stocks that are running low in supply, other materials (books, DVDs, pamphlets, etc.) are procured to stock the Military OneSource Distribution Center. The contract will be issued for service and/or supply of presentations and materials as per the (SOW). CNIC will be procuring this requirement with NON-APPROPRIATED FUNDS (NAF). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes preparation. The contract will result in a NAF firm fixed price contract. Negotiation is being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of BUPERSINST 7043.1B. The proposed contract action is for services/supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of BUPERSINST 7043.1B. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
