MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a firm fixed purchase order under FAR Part 6.302-1 to Heartsparkle Players in the estimated amount of $47,940.00 for a base period plus two one-year option periods to purchase Standardized Patient Services. Standardizes Patients promote patient safety through realistic simulated training opportunity for repeated practice to enhance medical skill competency and proficiency and develop quality clinical skill development in a safe environment with no harm to the patient. Standardized Patients also support the Graduate Medical Education Nursing and Medic training at the Andersen Simulation Center located at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), JBLM, Tacoma, WA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capabilities and authorizations/certifications.
