Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source

The USPFO Mississippi intends to negotiate on a sole source basis IAW FAR 13.106 with SMG, 300 Conshohocken State Road STE 450, West Conshohocken, PA 19428-3801 for meals to be provided to the Mississippi Army National Guard in support of a Multi-Echelon Integrated Brigade Training(MiBT) in Beaumont, TX at the Ford Park Facilities. The meals are to be provided June 2-3 2016, and June 21-23 2016. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This solicitation will result in a firm firxed price contract for food services provided by SMG. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under the North American Industry Classification System code of 711310. This Special Notice is not a request for competitive proposal(s). A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Ham Steak Hash browns Biscuits Breakfast to be packaged in foam box will include: butter, jelly, ketchup & meal kit Dinner Menu 8" Turkey or Ham poboy( dressed w/ cheese & lettuce)( 6 oz protein) Chips Cookies Packaged in foam box, include mayo, mustard, and meal kit The contractor shall coordinate all food and beverage preparation procedures with the Mississippi Army National Guard. The contractor shall provide breakfast and dinner meals based on the provided schedule. The contractor shall be prepared to provide meals for variations in the provided schedule in which the Mississippi Army National Guard will provide a notice 72 hours prior.
