78 -- Intent to Sole Source Aerobatic Routines for Offutt Air Show

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order to perform Twin Beech, Lear Jet, and Decathlon Solo Aerobatic Routines for the Offutt Air Show, 26-28 August 2004 to Bobby Younkin Airshows and Sales, INC., PO Box 1785, Springdale, AR 72765. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Bobby Younkin Airshows and Sales INC is the only vendor that can meet the requirements for the combination of the uniquely marked Twin Beech, Lear Jet, and Decathlon Solo performances for the Offutt Air Show. Requirements are not to be split among mulitple vendors. Award is contingent on availability of funds.
