NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland, intends to negotiate a sole source contract to Army Aviation Heritage Foundation, 4018 Johnstonville Road, Forsyth, Georgia 31029. The contract will result in a firm fixed price purchase order for a Vietnam era aerial demonstrations and military re-enactment for the 2010 Joint Service Open House from 14 May 2010 to 16 May 2010. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which may be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
