SLA NOTIFICATION OF FULL FOOD SETASIDE FOR 8A SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT

The U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement for Full Food Services that is being set aside as a (8a) sole source solicitation. This acquisition is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for full food services at U.S. Coast Guard Sector Southeastern New England (SENE), Woodshole, MA. The period of performance is one base year, beginning 1 October 2013 through 30 September 2014, with four one-year options. An 8(a) contractor has already been selected. Quotes from State Licensing Agencies (for Blind vendors) operating under the authority of the Randolph-Sheppard Act, 20 USC, 107(a-e), must be given a priority in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Secretary of Education at 34CFR 395.33. If a quote is received from a State Licensing Agency, the Government may consult with the Secretary of Education to determine whether any priority should be given that quote. This consultation may be necessary even if a quote is judged as not having a reasonable chance for being selected for award. The NAICS Code is 722310. The size standard is $35.5 million.
