Notice of intent to issue a sole source award to Altec Industries Inc. Purpose of award is to repair three Altec brand boom trucks. Damage to the three trucks were found by Altec during trucks' annual inspection. These boom trucks are used daily by electric utility linemen and repairs are needed for linemen's routine operations and safety. Altec will repair damage to boom trucks' outriggers, perform dielectric testing, and replace welded boom mounts/supports. Solicitation is not available and technical questions will not be answered. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310. If a firm believes this agency should not pursue the proposed sole source acquisition, it should submit a capability statement and pricing information for this requirement by 6/16/2023, 9:00 am MD time.
