Notification of Intent to Award Sole Source to Hydro Tech, Inc.

The 56th Contracting Squadron, Luke AFB, AZ, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order HydroTech, Inc., 207 N Gilbert Rd.,Ste 101, Gilbert, AZ, 85234, to replace the bearings on three (3) aerator rotors at the Luke AFB Waste Water Treatment Plant. This contract action will be accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source; specifically a sole source award under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J&A is not required for this award.. The anticipated award date is 24 Mar 10. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed requirement is solely at the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
