The General Services Administration, Public Buildings Services, Denver Federal Center Service Center located at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood, Colorado intends to issue a sole source modification in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 to extend Contract No. GS-08P-97-JA-C-1013 for a 3-month performance period from February 1, 2008, through April 30, 2008, at an estimated price of $370,047.00. Contractor is to furnish all material, labor, equipment, and supervision to accomplish Operations and Maintenance Services for a four (4) month extension for Buildings 56, 67, 75, 85, 85A, and 810 located at the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood, Colorado. Contractor will be responsible for all mechanical equipment and systems contained with the building envelope and adjacent/attached support structures/equipment such as boiler rooms, emergency generators, docks, dock levelers, and automatic and overhead doors as specified in the contract. Contractor is responsible for all management, administrative, and technical functions for the effective accomplishment of operation, maintenance, and repair of building equipment and systems; water treatment; operational tours; asbestos control procedures; architectural and structural maintenance; and CFC/HCFC refrigerant program. The evaluation period for proposals received under the new Solicitation No. GS-08P-08-JA-D-006 has been extended to facilitate discussions with the government for interested parties that fall within the competitive range. This extension will provide services without disruption for the operation of facilities of this size, number, and complexity by a firm that is familiar with the equipment. Tecom, Incorporated has been performing these services since 1997 and is fully capable of continuing to perform for the additional 3-month performance period.
