Shop Towel Services

Marine Corps Base Hawaii intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase order to Steiner Hawaii, Inc. The agency’s requirement is to purchase services that provides and launders 625 shop towels per week for local units during the period of 1 October 2011 – 30 September 2012. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
