NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Father Phillip Sessions, 4728 Iroquois Ave, Unit L, San Diego, CA. The proposed contract action is for ordained Roman Catholic Priest services. NAICS Code 813110, Religious Organizations is applicable and business size is $7.0 M. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) Soliciting from a Single Source. The Catholic priest shall be ordained by the Roman Catholic Church to perform religious services. In addition, the priest requires written endorsement and faculties from the Archdiocese for the Military USA. Due to the specialized nature of Roman Catholic priest services, no other responsible sources have been found. NAVSUP FLC San Diego therefore, intends to issue a sole source purchase order. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
