Notice of Intent to Sole Source Membership in a National Organization Focused on K-12 Physical Education & Health Education

This is a notice of intent to sole source and is not a request for proposals or quotations. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not reimburse the respondent for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) hereby submits a notice of intent to award a firm-fixed price, sole source contract pursuant to FAR 13.106.1(b)(1) for Membership in a National Organization Focused on K-12 Physical Education & Health Education to Society of Health and Physical Educators (dba SHAPE America), CAGE code 0FVH7. The total estimated value of the base and all option years is $118,240.00 NAICS Code for this requirement is 813920. The anticipated award is for a FFP IDIQ with a one (1) year base period and four (4) subsequent one year option periods, starting 01 August 2022 and ending 30 July 2027. This notice hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement/ Responses to this notice must demonstrate a clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Department of Defense Education Activity.
