National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) – Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to National Defense Industrial Agency NDIA to provide up to 140 registrations to MDA military and civilian employees to attend the 6th Annual Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Industry Day. This conference is hosted by NDIA and provides a world-class, secure environment for all members of the SBIR/STTR team to meet and discuss key issues in enhancing the SBIR/STTR process for MDA and the small business community. Contract award is expected on or about 19 July 2010. The anticipated NAICS code is 813920, size standard $7.0M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responses received by 10:00 am Central Standard Time on 13 July 2010 will be reviewed. No formal solicitation package is available. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for planning purposes for a future competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice.
