R -- Westlaw Legal Database Services

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). Thomson/West, 610 Opperman Drive, St. Paul, MN 55123-1340, is the only known source that can continue to provide the required Westlaw online legal research services. The Westlaw product/service is being procured for a twelve-month period. The requirement is for continued access to the proprietary Westlaw database via the Internet. No solicitation document exists.
