The Hill AFB Small Business Office is proud to present the next in an ongoing series of workshops and "Matchmaking Events" on 16 January 2013 @ 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The January Matchmaking event will feature government personnel from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the Global Logisitics Support Center (GLSC). These agencies procure aircraft related parts, equipment, and services. This event will include a two part program. From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. the program will include a training workshop which provides information on Hill Air Force Base requirements and contracting. Registration is not required to attend the training workshop portion. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. the event will include "Matchmaking Events" which will provide for face-to-face discussions with government personnel engaged in requirements development and prime/subcontracting opportunities. This portion of the program does require registration, as discussed below. Registration is required for the face-to-face Matchmaking event conducted from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Registration for the face-to-face discussions will open on Thursday, January 3rd, at 09:00 a.m. (MST). Please do not RSVP earlier than this date or time, or your RSVP will be rejected. Due to time and space limitations, RSVPs for the face-to-face discussions will be handled on a first come, first serve basis. We are unable to take advance registrations and will not accept them. Interested contractors who request an RSVP (limited to two (2) individuals per company) for the face-to-face sessions should provide the following information: name, company name, phone number and email address to
[email protected] . The AFSC Small Business Office will accept all RSVP requests and assign meeting times to those whose RSVPs were received first, and we will fill all available time slots. If your company is successful in securing an RSVP for the face-to-face meetings, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive an email confirmation back from the Small Business Office, you were not successful in obtaining meeting appointments and you will not be able to participate in the face-to-face discussions. However, after the Matchmaking Event takes place, you may request the contact information for the government personnel who participated in the discussions and the Small Business Office will send it to you. For those who receive confirmation to participate in the Matchmaking face-to-face sessions, you will receive additional instructions from the AFSC Small Business Office. We will collect additional information about your company so that we may assist in matching you with the appropriate government personnel for effective meetings.
