The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES). The Office of the Director, Office of Research on Women's Health, currently has a MOU with FAES for the development of Sex and Gender Courses, Continuing Education Credits, and Logistics, Support for the ORWH Quarterly Seminar Series and other Events or Meeting Educational in Nature. As new scientific priorities emerge, ORWH maintains a need to educate the NIH and research community. ORWH needs to build upon existing programs, all of which are carried out on the Web, Social Media, in print, at events and meetings, and through additional methods, approaches, and outlets. Tasks are aimed at enhancing and broadening the range of ORWH outreach efforts in support of the office's Congressionally mandated mission and are outlined below. Task Area 1. Development and Management of Sex and Gender courses; Task Area 2. Management of the continuing educational credits for ORWH courses and events. Task Area 3. Planning and Logistical Support for the ORWH Quarterly Seminars and other Events and Meetings Educational in Nature Responses The proposed acquisition action is for items and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.
