This notice is for informational purposes only. The 23d Contracting Squadron intends to award a Sole Source Purchase Order to the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) to gain access to the Georgia Criminal Information Center (GCIC) license system for the Moody AFB Security Forces Control Center and Visitors Center. The GCIC system allows authorized users the ability to conduct necessary criminal history background checks as mandated by the Air Force, as well as run vehicle license plates and driver's licenses checks. The period of performance will be one (1) year, 1 Oct 2018 - 30 Sep 2019. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements). A post-award notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 23d Contracting Squadron's Justification and Approval of this sole-source procurement to the Georgia Technology Authority.
