COMFRC ASE Propane Tank Refill Services

The Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) hereby gives notice of their intent to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order to Taylor Gas Company, Inc., 21541 Great Mills Rd, Lexington Park, MD on a sole source basis. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6(a) (C), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. COMFRC HQ/Propane tank refill COMFRC requires weekly to bi-weekly propane tank refills located at COMFRC ASE Solomons, MD Complex. The required propane is up to a total of 40,000 gallons. This requirement is a follow-on to previously procured propane fill services. Taylor Gas is the owner of the propane tanks, and the only service provider available to fill these tanks. Included in the purchase: - Weekly to bi-weekly propane tank refill service THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement without impacting the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
