T -- Plant Patent Photo-Reproduction Services

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)seeks to award a Fixed Price Requirements type contract to acquire high quality color/part color photoprints of plant patent drawings and fulfill any reorder requirements. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to be for a base period of one year and four additional one-year option periods. It anticipates this requirement to be a 100% Small Business set-aside under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 561439. Prior to the closing date of the RFP, all interested parties will be required to pickup six (6) original Plant Patent color and part color drawings, (hereinafter referred to as Government Furnished Property (GFP)), for use in preparing pre-award color and part color photoprint samples to accompany the technical proposal. These GFP drawings will be on loan until such time as proposals are submitted. At that time, all GFP drawings must be returned or the offeror will be held liable for replacement costs of up to $200.00 per original drawing. Please note that all GFP drawings must be returned on this date whether or not a proposal is submitted. A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be made available on the Internet at http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/ac/comp/proc/currproj.htm on or about March 15, 2002. Interested parties are responsible for checking the website regularly for release of the RFP and for other procurement-related documents. Since all procurement-related documents will be released via the Internet, a mailing list and list of interested vendors will not be available. Interested small business firms must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED AT THIS TIME.
