Online Laboratory Simulations and Support Materials For Current DoDEA AP Biology Textbooks

The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) intends to award a sole source contract to Pearson Education, Inc., 1 Lake Street, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458-1828 in accordance with FAR 6.302, circumstances permitting other than full and open competition, for 1-year site licenses to online laboratory simulations and related online support materials for the AP Biology textbooks currently used in DoDEA high schools. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement by the response date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This requirement is being solicited in accordance with FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
