R -- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Duke University

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the School of Environment and Earth Sciences. Purpose of proposed contract is to provide research on coral reef reductions. Work will be completed over an 18-month time period. Proposed contractor will work closely with the Fagatele Bay National Marine Sanctuary, the National Park of American Samoa, the Department of Marine & Wildlife Resources, the American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency, and other members of the coastal management community of American Samoa. Completed product will consist of spatial data layers with complete Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) compliant metadata, project files (ArcView and ArcGIS format), a site-specific high-resolution hydrodynamical-ecological model, a methods document, and a training module for MPA network optimization and connectivity analysis.
