R--Advisory and Assistance

The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to Norman Kaplan of Silver Spring, MD to provide advice and assistance in ensuring the the Administrative Records Research unit within the Planning, Research and Evaluation Division is in full compliance with all security policies and procedures prior to the IRS Safeguard Review. Period of performance will be through September 30, 2004. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive bids, no solicitation will be issued.
