This notice is for informational purposes only. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order for special issues of Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair, a journal published by Sage Publications, 2455 Teller Road, Thousand Oaks, CA 91320. The National Institute of Health has contracted to Sage Publications to record, edit, and create the manuscript for publication. CDC’s contribution will be for printing costs of the special journal. Therefore, there is no other organization that has the capacity to continue with the publication of these materials. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is procurement is not set-aside for small business.
