This is notice of intent to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302 with Anchor Industries to provide a 60’ x 105’ Custom “Aâ€Â� Beam MilSpan Structure and replacement parts for previously purchased structure. T o include (8) “Aâ€Â� Powder coated (OD Green) extruded aluminum box beams with purlins, baseplates, stakes and all hardware, (7) Convection Middle Panel with custom diaper carry bag, (5) Lower Middle Panel with (2) Temper windows per side, (3) 20â €Â� ducts per side, drop ceiling tucks, and custom diaper carry bag, (2) Lower Middle Panels with (1) Temper door side, drop ceiling tucks, and custom diaper carry bag, (1) 7-piece drop ceiling with custom diaper carry bag and cable support system, (3) Cus tom Plenum with support cable system, (1) Internal frame system to complete (snow) damage frame system: Includes (3) Red dot z bars, (3) brown dot z bars, (1) Orange dot z bar, (1) Black dot z bar, (2) Black/Black dot z bar, (1) White/White dot z bar, (3) uprights, (7) 3 way weldment, (1) Internal wall set (white) to complete (snow) damaged wall set: Includes (4) 15’ interior wall with zipper door, (1) 15’ interior wing wall with zipper door, (1) 15’ interior wall, (1) repair kit, and (1) ext ra parts kit. Beams, Purlins and Base Plates to be painted OD government Green or Desert Tan Convection Mid Fabric: Temper Tan outside/White inside vinyl. Lower Mid Fabric: Temper Tan outside/White inside vinyl. Cables to be OD Government green coated. To include (1) ad ditional X-cabled bay and eave purlins in every bay. Additionally, interior tie rods may be used. Engineering: Wind Load 70 mph. Snow Load: 14 psf. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is a notice of intent to award a con tract to Anchor Industries, Evansville, IN. Response to this notice will be used to determine whether bona fide competition exists and whether a formal solicitation is appropriate. Written responses, which include prices and sufficient technical data to d etermine capability to meet the requirement, must be received in this office within ten (10) calendar days after publication of this notice. If no affirmative written responses are received within this time to determine that comparable sources more advanta geous to the Government are available, a contract will be placed with Anchor Industries, Evansville, IN. A request for a solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract ba sed on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
