CHANNING BETE FAMILY SUPPORT PUBLICATIONS: HQ ACC CONS, Langley AFB, VA intends to negotiate a non-competitive, sole source, commercial purchase order with Channing Bete Company for “Life in the Air Force” publications used in Family Support Centers throughout ACC. Currently, the Family Support Centers provide readiness resources to airmen and their families as part of one-on-one consultations, workshops, and seminars. The Channing-Bete “Life in the Air Force” publications aid in the enhancement of these support programs which prepare airmen and their family members for the separation and reunion processes associated with deployment. This procurement is authorized in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). The proposed solicitation is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation document exists.
