Under section 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other source will satisfy the Agency's requirements for this item.Radiation Solutions, Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of advanced gamma-ray spectrometer instrumentation for Airborne, Mobile and Handheld radiation measurements. RSI?s detection technology incorporates a fully digital system design, spectral analysis and advanced data processing. This technology provides a level of radiation detection previously only attainable in laboratory equipment.The ASPECT program is upgrading its airborne processing capabilities to automatically correct for radon interference to enhance airborne radiological environmental surveys. The upward-looking detectors are additions to the existing detector infrastructure and can only be used with this equipment; therefore, this service permits a seamless continuity of operations for the government. The following is for the conversion of an existing model RSX-4 Radiation Detector to a model RSX-5 and consists of the following; Supply of ; Quantity: 2 - IDU unit consisting of 2? x 4? x 16? (2L) NaI Crystal Detector complete with SDA ( PMT, Pre-amp and divider chain, Advanced Digital Spectrometer and low noise shield. - ?5-pack? lid for existing detector to accommodate the extra crystal. - Includes assembly and testing NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, which if received within seven (7) calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered.
