13 -- Nomadics Systems, Spare Parts, Training, Integration and Repair Support for the Robotic Systems Joint Project Office.

The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) has a requirement to procure spare parts/components, training, integration and repair services for Nomadics systems currently being used in contingency operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. This is to announce PEO STRI’s intent to award a non-competitive sole source FFP Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a set ceiling of $10 mil with Remotec Inc., for fulfillment of this requirement through FY 10. Nomadics systems are currently being utilized in direct support of contingency operations OCONUS and will not be competed due to the proprietary nature of these systems. Nomadics Inc. is the only known company capable of providing the required support and sustainment capability for these fielded robotic systems. A response to this synopsis is not required.
