Synopsis This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of Native American owned Conference Event Planners. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is conducting market research under this Request for Information (RFI) to develop strategies for future potential Native American owned sources for Conference Planners. Depending on the response, BIA may issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for routine purchases of Event Planning Services. Native American Owned vendors that are capable of providing information for this requirement are sought for input. Examples of previous experience or existing contracts relating to this request will be accepted as part of a response. A business that is not at least fifty-one percent owned by a Native American, Alaskan Native, or Tribally-owned firm under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice, and responses from businesses that are not at least fifty-one percent owned by a Native American, Alaskan Native or Tribe will not be considered. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on behalf of the Government. To protect procurement integrity of any possible future procurement that may arise from this notice, information gathered will not be discussed and no appointments for presentations of capability shall be made. Information Submission Instructions Electronic responses submitted by interested parties shall be used as part of market research by the Bureau of Indian Affairs to develop potential options. Pursuant to FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be interpreted to form a binding contract. Any future contract that may be awarded based on information received or derived from this RFI will be the outcome of the competitive process. This announcement is based on the best information available, is subject to future modification, is not a request for proposal/quotation, and in no way commits the government to award of a contract. Describe company's experience as it pertains to small and large scale conference/event planning (100 to 3000 attendees).2. Describe company's experience with processing/managing hotel contracts and cancellation fees for small and large scale Government/Commercial client conferences/events with attendees between 100-3000. 3. Describe company's experience with conference inventory management.4. Describe company's experience with large scale AV production as it relates to conference/event planning.5. Describe company's recognized accomplishments, awards, professional licenses and certifications, as it pertains to conference/event planning support services.
