NATUTAL GAS UTILITY SERVICES

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has a requirement for natural gas public utility services at a leased facility located at 3370 V Street, NW, Washington, DC. The acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 . The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 221210 with a size standard of 500 employees. If no vendor comes forward with a proposal on how to satisfy the supply of natural gas to this location on or before Oct. 1, 2009, the DOJ intends to award a purchase order to WASHINGTON GAS ENERGY SERVICES, INC. of Herndon, Va. as the "public utility" for them to continue to supply the natural gas to this location. Any responses received as a result of this notice will be reviewed for its viability to satisfy this requirement.
