Alaska Remote Fixed Facility Fabrication and Engineering Support

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. HSCG23-14-Q-AAK009, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), is for the procurement of facility fabrication and engineering services at three remote sites in Alaska. This work is in support of the USCG Rescue 21 Project, Project Residence Office- Alaska. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. This procurement is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 517210. The small business size standard is 1,500 employees. It is anticipated that only one award will result from this solicitation via the issuance of a labor-hour type simplified acquisition/commercial services purchase order. The anticipated period of performance will be a base period of five months with award anticipated by May 15, 2014. The RFQ Package attached contains the Solicitation, Statement of Work, applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation and Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation Clauses, and sample pricing template.
