Announcement of the Intent to Acquire Using Other than Full and Open Competition - Microsoft Support Services

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the following Microsoft Enterprise Information Technology support services. Accordingly, the TSA intends to award a contract to Microsoft Corporation, 15010 NE 36th Street, Redmond, WA 98052. This contract will address the requirements of the Office of Information Technology, Operations and Enginnering Division for Microsoft technology based information technology solutions. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
