NAICS Code: 334516 The ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Waters Corporation, 34 Maple Street, Milford, MA 01757 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This requirement is for a Total Assurance Service Plan. The plan will provide a one year unlimited comprehensive service coverage on the AutoSpec Ultima Mass Spectrometer system. This sole source is based on no known third party factories authorized service organizations offering services to work on Waters Corpoartion instruments. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all interested parties who identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within 10 calendars days of the published date of this notice will be considered. Documents more than 10 pages will not be accepted by facsimile. Verification of receipt of fax and email transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, an award shall be made to Waters Corporation.
